Not really a weakness but it doesnt have its own processor like some of the newer versions. This may not apply to you
if you need speed
If you need speed, then buy this. Lightning hit my pc and killed the onboard card. this one came to the rescue and works well. Since it is a add on it should also eat less resources, however with todays fast CPUs this will not make a difference. No point of getting a 100 base if a gigabit one islow in price
