NETGEAR ProSAFE Web Managed Click Switch Family Overview
The Web Managed Click Switches GSS108E (8-port), GSS108EPP (8-port with PoE+) and GSS116E (16-port), all feature an innovative and flexible mounting bracket, making it easy to mount them vertically or horizontally, flat or perpendicular, on a wall, under a desk, or strapped to a pole, allowing you to put your ports where and how you need them! Innovative Mounting Bracket and Silent operation
Simple to use mounting bracket enables vertical or horizontal orientation of ports.
To install, just mount the bracket onto a wall, desk, table leg/pole or "Virtually Anywhere", and "Click" the switch into the bracket.
All Click Switches feature a fanless design, even the GSS108EPP PoE+ model, providing Power-Over-Ethernet to your PD devices yet allowing silent operation in conference rooms, open space offices, healthcare centers or any noise-sensitive environment.
PoE+ Support
Power-Over-Ethernet (PoE) option available for powering IP Security Cameras, VoIP phones, wireless access points, and other Ethernet-powered devices.
Four (4) PoE+ ports (up to 30W per port) allow for the connection of up to 4 PoE/PoE+ (802.3af and 802.3at) devices (up to a total PoE power budget of 47W), plus an additional 4 non-PoE devices. PoE ports may also be used for non-PoE devices.
This new member of the Click Switch family allows you to install PoE+ ports in any environment, and exactly where you need them.
The innovative mounting system gives you the flexibility to place the PoE+ Click Switch in locations where other switches cannot go.

The innovative and unique mounting system gives you the flexibility to place NETGEAR ProSAFE Click Switches in locations where other switches cannot go. Whether it's directly on a wall, strapped to a pole, under the meeting table in a conference room or in a server closet, vertical or horizontal, flat or perpendicular, the Click Switch's unique mounting system allows you to control exactly how and where your ports and cables are deployed.
Web Managed Switch Networking Features
The Web Managed Click Switches can go beyond plug-and-play connectivity with additional ProSAFE Web Managed Switch networking features, allowing businesses to segment the network with VLANs or prioritize voice and video traffic with QoS. IGMP Snooping allows for optimized multimedia delivery and port trunking (GSS108EPP and GSS116E only) adds redundancy to uplinks and servers. Setup and configuration is simple using the web browser-based configuration GUI.
